“No More Bloating”
“I previously used powdered fiber supplements and 'tea' laxatives, but I hated taking them because they tasted bad and were inconvenient. I now use Ready Fiber every day and love it... It's easy, I stay regular and I have no bloating or cramping!”
Linh J
Yoga Instructor, Sioux Falls, SD

NEW, ALL-NATURAL AND medically used supplement
can help you lose weight,
improve regularity and relieve
occasional constipation,
relieve bloating, reduce
cholesterol, maintain healthy blood pressure,
reduce blood sugar swings, and relieve
digestion problems*—but can this possibly
be true?
For years, medical experts and well-respected
health organizations have touted
a diet high in fiber as a benefit to all these
health concerns. Indeed, fiber intake is one
of today’s hottest health topics. And now,
medical experts are excited about a new “super-fiber” supplement discovery, called Ready
Fiber, that is helping people easily achieve
many of these life-enhancing and extending
health benefits.
We've All
Hated This...
Would you rather take four 8 ounce servings
of the leading brand or one 1 ounce serving
of Ready Fiber?
So, with its numerous health benefits,
and the current awareness of the importance
of a high fiber diet, why is it that
most Americans only get about half of the fiber experts recommend (25 grams for women
and 38 grams per day for men). And, note
well: 9 out of 10 Americans do not consume
a diet high in fiber!
Weight loss author Jim Caras states that
the problem is two-fold, “First, the American
diet has evolved away from ample amounts
of fruits, vegetables and whole grains—and
people find it tough to consume enough high fiber foods consistently every day.
Second, the fiber powder and pill supplement
options that have been available are not convenient
or appealing to most consumers.”
For years, our only choice for supplements with fiber
have been gritty, messy, thickening
powders that only deliver a fraction of our
daily fiber requirement (3 fiber grams in an
8 ounce glass). Finally the innovation of the
new “super-fiber” medical breakthrough,
Ready Fiber, makes it easy for anyone to
consume enough fiber and receive all its
associated benefits.
Proven Medical Use
Taste-free liquid fiber was recently developed for use by critically ill hospital patients who couldn't use the thickening powder or pill fiber supplements. Not only does this super-fiber formula, used in Ready Fiber make it easy to consume a high amount of fiber (12 grams in a single ounce—that's about 50% of the recommended dose for most women), it has also been clinically studied to reduce laxative use by 32% in as little as 20 days!
But Doesn't Fiber Have to be Gritty?
"Why would you take a handful of pills
to get the same fiber as a single ounce
of clear liquid?"
Throughout our whole lives we have been taught that good fiber supplements have to be a gritty powder that thickens in our glass and going down our throat. This is because most fiber supplements use cheap insoluble fiber, which remains intact, thickens during use, and also tends to produce bloating and gas.
Soluble fiber, the type used in Ready Fiber, dissolves completely in water and gels after consumed and in you digestive tract. Soluble fiber has many health benefits, including helping to reduce cholesterol and promote healthy blood sugar levels.
“Stomach Spasms
Are Gone!”
“I've had digestive problems for years. Some foods make me really nauseous, bloated, give me a 'greasy feeling', and make my stomach spasm. When I use Ready Fiber, my stomach calms, and the abdominal bloating and cramping go away - it's amazing!! I use it all the time now!”

A Myriad of Health Benefits “Shrunk” Into One Small Ounce...
With fiber's well-documented and clinically validated health benefits, simply increasing one's fiber intake to recommended amounts on a daily basis could help many people experience improved health.
Ready Fiber's highly concentrated "super-fiber" formula makes this easy. Each one ounce serving of Ready Fiber contains a whopping 12 grams of fiber (half the daily fiber recommended for most women)—that's the equivalent of consumer four, eight ounce glasses of the leading fiber powders, or 22 fiber capsules!
Unlike the leading fiber supplements, Ready Fiber also contains the prebiotic, FOS, which helps improve digestive health and immune function.
Real Life-Enhancing
and Life-Extending Benefits of a High Fiber Diet...
Diets high in fiber have been scientifically shown to influence numerous life-enhancing and life-extending health benefits:
- Weight Loss: Fiber's effect on the transit time of foods in the intestines promotes weight loss by decreasing the number of calories that are absorbed and increasing feelings of fullness, helping to curb hunger cravings.
- Blood Sugar: Also a weight loss benefit, soluble fiber has been shown to reduce blood sugar and insulin absorption and reduces spikes, also resulting in fewer swings.
- Cholesterol and Heart Health: Soluble
fiber has been associated with a decreased
risk of cardiovascular disease, helping
reduce both cholesterol and blood pressure
within normal levels.
- Regularity: With adequate fluid intake,
fiber helps increase bowel movements and
the ease of which the stool is passed.
- Digestion Issues: High fiber diets also
results in healthier bowels, and is one of the
best ways to combat digestion problems.
Easy to Use and Safe
And best yet, Ready Fiber is easy-to-use high fiber liquid with no mixing or water required. Ready Fiber is taste-free and color-free, and can be taken straight from the bottle or added to any food or beverage (hot or cold)—you can even cook with it! Also, unlike other high fiber products, there is NO risk of choking!! Ready Fiber does not interfere with the absorption of medicines and supplements like many fiber powders do. And women really benefit, as the Ready Fiber formula has been shown to increase the absorption of calcium! What fiber supplement works as hard as Ready Fiber? None that we've found!

Health Food Store Manager
Gets Relief From Crohn's Disease
Thanks to Ready Fiber
February 15, 2007
Having been disabled and diagnosed with Crohn's disease, I have tried many products
to find a good source of fiber.
I've tried a lot of different fibers like Psyllium Husk, Triple Fiber, the Renew Life
Program, and of course the mass market brands like Metamucil.
A lot of my customers (and myself included) don't like taking a lot of capsules and the
powders just take too much time to mix up before you take. All in all, these fibers just
didn't seem to do the trick.
My store, Nature's Way Health Foods has been serving Garden City since my mother-in-law started it 25 years ago. It's a small town where reputation is important, and my
customers know that I try samples and check fact sheets prior to bringing any new
product into our store. They trust me and know that I'm here to help and won't
recommend anything I don't believe in.
So when I tried Health Direct's new Ready Fiber, it tasted great and within a few days, I
started getting great results, and my insides are doing much better. After I experienced
these results I informed my customers and since then I've been selling this product very
well. I've had several repeat customers and they're seeing the same great results I am,
(I'm still using it myself).
Thank you for such a quality product that lives up to what your advertisements say
about it.

Prebiotic FOS Provides Extra Digestive
Support
By now, nearly everyone
has heard of probiotics, dietary supplements that introduce beneficial
bacteria into the intestinal tract to aid in the effective absorption
of nutrients and to support proper digestive function. However,
what many people may not know is that oftentimes it's difficult
for these probiotics to pass through the upper digestive tract
without being degraded, or often completely neutralized by stomach
acids and other digestive enzymes. These natural processes
frequently negate the intended benefits of taking these supplements.
Not a probiotic, FOS is instead,
a natural prebiotic, which strengthens and stimulates
the healthy growth of “good” bacteria – like
Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus – already present within
our lower digestive tracts. Healthy colonies of these micro
floras are integral parts of any effective, strong digestive system.
In fact, studies have shown that FOS can not only ensure helpful
activity of these micro flora, but can also assist in the absorption
of calcium and magnesium, while simultaneously promoting lower
blood triglyceride levels.
Ready Fiber is a comprehensive digestive supplement
that is completely ready to use and easy to integrate into any high fiber weight loss program.

Frequently Asked
Questions |
| |
|
|
How
was Ready Fiber developed? |

|
Ready Fiber was originally formulated and
used by medical professionals in
convalescent hospitals for sensitive patients who were unable to drink regular powdered fiber supplements. |
|
|
|
What are the
benefits of adding a fiber supplement to my diet? |

|
Adding a dietary fiber supplement to your
diet has many health benefits. It adds bulk to your
digestive system, supporting more effective and faster digestive
elimination times. This can help to remove toxic waste from
the intestines in less time. Soluble fibers help support
and maintain healthy glucose, serum cholesterol and triglycerides
within normal levels. Overall, fiber helps maintain
healthy digestive and cardiovascular systems. |
|
|
|
What are common
sources of fiber? |

|
Common sources of
fiber include fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes.
Unfortunately the average person doesn't adequately consume
enough of these foods to get their recommended daily value.
|
|
|
|
How much fiber
do I need? |

|
The National Fiber
Council recommends that people get 32 grams of fiber daily.
However, a recent report from Colombia University states that
most people's fiber intake only averages
10 – 15 grams
per day, barely half of what they really need ensure proper
health benefits. |
|
|
|
What kind
of fiber is in Ready Fiber? |

|
There are two types of
fiber, soluble and insoluble fiber. Insoluble fiber
remains largely intact (and is therefore gritty and chalky
when in a fiber supplement) during the digestive process
and is used to help move bulk matter through the intestines.
Soluble fiber has the same benefit of promoting
more effective eliminations, but can also help support and
maintain healthy glucose, serum cholesterol and triglyceride
levels. The list of soluble fiber benefits include a healthy digestive system and healthy cardiovascular system.
Ready Fiber contains only 100% soluble fiber. This means that the fiber can be dissolved easily in water, and allows Ready Fiber to provide a superior fiber experience in a convenient
liquid form. |
|
|
|
How does Ready
Fiber have 12 grams of fiber in just 1 ounce of clear liquid? |

|
Unlike other supplements
that are composed primarily of insoluble fiber, which is
gritty, and bulky; Ready Fiber is high in soluble fiber, which easily dissolves in water.
Because it is a soluble fiber supplement, Ready Fiber can provide
you with such a high quantity of quality fiber in such a
convenient amount of liquid. |
|
|
|
Doesn't fiber
have to come in a powder or tablet? |

|
That's a common misconception
that companies of other fiber products would like you to believe.
Fiber naturally occurs in two forms, soluble and
insoluble. Many brands utilize insoluble fibers in their products.
This results in the undesirable gritty and chalky textures
often associated with them. Ready Fiber is composed instead,
of a highly concentrated 100% soluble fiber that provides
you with a superior fiber, in a more convenient, liquid form. |
|
|
|
How is Ready Fiber different from
other fiber products? |

|
Ready Fiber is the
world's first and only clear liquid fiber product.
Unlike many other supplements, Ready Fiber is immediately,
ready-to-use “as is” from the bottle, and can
be added to any food or beverage (hot and cold). It
is also fortified with the additional support of a revolutionary
prebiotic FOS, this type of prebiotic benefit provides an
unprecedented digestive health benefit vs. other fiber products.
|
|
| |
|
|
What does
Ready Fiber do? |

|
Ready Fiber with FOS
helps support and maintain: Healthy intestinal regularity;
healthy intestinal microflora; healthy blood glucose levels
within normal levels; healthy serum cholesterol and triglycerides
within normal levels. |
|
|
|
What is in
it (the ingredients): |

hydrolyzed digestion resistant maltodextrin and pure
concentrated short chain
fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS)], glycerin, phosphoric

sugar, artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. |
|
|
